HFC Mouske 92 Wins U-11 Girls State Championship! The first round of the Oklahoma Chevy Cup was held in Edmond, Oklahoma May 3rd and 4th. The HFC Mouske 92 team shutout two teams and tied a third to win their bracket and advance to the Chevy Cup State Semi-finals. During the weekend, the team scored nine goals and allowed two.
HFC Mouske 92 shutout Thunder 92 White, from Tulsa, 3-0 and followed that game up with a 4-0 victory over Tulsa Nationals 92. Mouske's opponent Sunday was ESC 92 Navy. After sixty minutes of play, the game ended in a 2-2 tie. HFC Mouske 92 took first place in their bracket and qualified for the semi-finals to be played later in the month.
The finals weekend was held in Tulsa, Oklahoma May 31st and June 1st. HFC Mouske 92 was paired with NOKC United 92 for their semi-finals game. Mouske's team dominated the first half, scoring four goals while allowing none. Second half, the team played just as well and scored two more goals before the game was over. The Mouske team won their semi-finals game 6-0 and advanced to the finals.
Sunday was a very exciting day for the Hurricane Futball Club. HFC Mouske 92 and HFC Shubert 92 both advanced to the finals and would face each other for the state title. The two teams played hard and after a 1-1 tie at halftime, Mouske's team continued to pressure Shubert's defense, scoring three more goals in the second half. The Mouske defense remained strong and did not allow any more goals scored against them. The final score was 4-1. Congratulations HFC Mouske 92! Your hard work all year paid off!
