HFC Mouske 92 wins the TSC Challenge Cup

HFC Mouske 92 swept the U11 division of the TSC Challenge  Cup this past weekend at the Valley Park  Soccer Complex in Claremore, Oklahoma.  They played five games in two days and went undefeated with 22 goals, while giving up only three, to win the tournament.

On Saturday, HFC defeated NOKC United, from Oklahoma City, 4-0.  Their next opponent was Texas Image from Dallas.  HFC defeated the Image squad 5-1.  The third game was Sunday against Tulsa Nationals.  HFC won that game 8-0.

After winning their first three games, HFC won their bracket and qualified for the semifinals.  HFC played Tulsa Soccer Club in a  game that  proved to be quite a challenge.  At halftime, HFC was up 2-0; however, TSC battled back to tie the game 2-2 , their final goal coming just moments before the game ended.  HFC defeated TSC a few minutes into overtime to advance to the finals.

In the finals, HFC faced Solar, a strong soccer club from north Texas.  HFC's first goal was scored in the first half on a penalty kick and was followed by a second goal midway through the second half.  HFC held on to the lead and shut out Solar 2-0 to win the championship!  Way to go Hurricane!
